We make our living from this, so it would be easy for us to say nothing on this page. We would rather say something honest.
The basic truth about betting
Betting is not a way to make money. Over time, most people who bet lose more than they win, and that is how the maths is built. Treat any money you stake as money spent on entertainment, not money invested.
Rules worth keeping
- Decide your limit before you start, not during. A limit you set while losing is not a limit.
- Never bet borrowed money. Not from a bank, not from a friend, not from a committee.
- Never chase a loss. Trying to win back what you lost is how a small loss becomes a large one.
- Keep it to spare money. If losing it would affect your rent, your food or your family, it is not spare money.
- Take breaks. If you cannot go a week without betting, that is worth noticing.
Signs to take seriously
Ask yourself honestly whether any of these are true for you:
- You bet more than you planned, most times.
- You have hidden your betting from your family.
- You have borrowed money, sold something, or used money meant for something else in order to bet.
- You feel restless or irritable when you are not betting.
- You are betting to escape stress rather than to enjoy a match.
If several of these are true, the sensible thing is to stop for a while and talk to someone you trust about it.
What we will do if you ask
If you tell us you want to stop, we will close your account and we will not try to talk you out of it or offer you anything to stay. If you ask us to refuse your deposits for a set period, we will refuse them. Message us on WhatsApp at 0347 4878983 and simply say so.
